Bay Park

Bay Park is one of those neighborhoods that defy logic. The location and water views are excellent, yet the pricing structure does not reflect those attributes. I think the proximity to Clairemont has kept Bay Park prices surprisingly affordable, considering the knock-out views, canyon sites, and proximity to Mission Bay.

The housing stock is very post war and generally not very interesting. But since Bay Park offers so many water views, there is a real dual character in the houses. On the view side of the street you will find expensive remodels. Across the street, the homes tend be more modest reflected their Clairemont heritage.

If you are seeking good square footage, two-car garages, and water views this neighborhood is underpriced. One day the market will realize this and prices will appreciate much faster than the surrounding neighborhoods.
