His primary focus is in the luxury home and condo market in the $500,000-plus range in Las Vegas, NV.

In 2001, Jim packed his bags from Northern California and ventured off to Las Vegas. As a freelance writer and author, he focused on writing about the American dream by interviewing dozens of America's most successful achievers. It was during this time he met Florence Shapiro while writing a story on her titled, "She's The Reigning Queen Of Las Vegas Luxury Homes."

Fascinated with the growth and unlimited opportunity in Las Vegas, he decided to join the top ranked team of Florence Shapiro and Ivan Sher in 2006. The Shapiro & Sher team continues year in and year out to be the #1 luxury real estate group in the state of Nevada.

While the real estate market in general has faced some challenging times in recent years, the Shapiro & Sher team has kept its focus and produced over $500 million in residential real estate sales and listings within the last three years alone.

Jim is the author of two books, "The American Dreams Collection" and "Las Vegas Dreams" among several magazine and newspaper articles. He is a graduate of San Jose State University with an undergraduate degree in Marketing.

Jim resides near the world famous Las Vegas Strip and enjoys working out at the Stirling Club gym along with experiencing the many great restaurants, shows and events in his adopted hometown of Las Vegas.

He has also volunteered time and contributed hundreds of positive books and speeches to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America throughout all 50 states.
