Comparing the calendar year of 2007 to the calendar year of 2008, there were 1,869 less sales of record (all information in this report has been compiled from the MRIS. New homes are the responsibility of the selling agent to record in MRIS & are not always recorded) within the calendar year of 2008 than occured in 2007 (10,192 sales in 2007). Based on a complete calendar year, there were 22.80 homes that sold each and every day within Montgomery County MD in the calendar year of 2008.
